Cabbage is a great vegetable to add to your diet. Read about the health benefits. You can eat it raw (I like mine in a  coleslaw) or you can cook it (I like mine sauteed).  In this video, I show you how to quickly sautee the cabbage in a medly of herbs and flavours. If you are going for the authentic Kenyan meal, the sauteed cabbage  makes a great side dish for beef stew and pilau, or even with chapati and chicken.

This is one of my favourites. It’s close to having a homemade hot pocket. You can make it ahead of time for busy days or for your lunch the next day and, best of all it’s quick and easy. All you have to do is cook the beef into an omelette adding two or three types of herbs, create a wrap then toast in a skillet and voila! Here is the recipe.

Here is our Food Video showing you how to make yet another Kenyan dish, Mukimo and Beef Herb Kebab. There are so many different ways to make Mukimo. Some people love to use kale or spinach, others use beans or black eyed peas, others like to include plantain, while others love stinging nettles.
