This is really a coleslaw from Texas that is “hot” because of the chili pepper and the chili powder. It is easy to make and can be made in advance of your dinner party’s arrival.

If ever you are in Guthrie, OK and are feeling a like lunch or dinner, you need to check out the  Stables Cafe. This is where we eat every time we go Antique Shopping, and we have done it at least three times.

The food here is great. I cherish the Bar-B-Que pulled pork that comes with a portion of coleslaw, so large, you don’t need to have another side. Continue reading »
